The Texas secretary of state's office rejected Small's candidacy for Texas' 9th Congressional District in 2020.[1]

Biography

Edward Small Jr. served in the United States Air Force from August 1958 to October 1973. He attended Northern Montana College, Houston College Without Walls, Texas Southern University, and the University of California at Davis extension in Washington D.C. for undergraduate courses and the Houston Graduate School of Theology for graduate studies. Small has been associated with Harris County Council of Organizations and Prince Hall Masonic Lodge.[2]

The Governor is the chief executive office and executes the laws of his state, its constitution and the constitution of these United States.
In Texas the Lieutenant Governor holds the most influence in budget matters in a part time legislature which meets every 2 years. The Governor is full time and is the everyday manager of state activities.
Hopefully, the love and commitment to state over personal ideals. Thus the governor must be a person who visits all of the state to understand the varying needs.
When I think of Texas I think of Freedom. We are a right to work state where individual rights trump organizations politics.
Ro maintain a our position in the energy field and maintain a balance between use of our natural resources and overall ecology.
