Elizabeth A. Heath is a district court judge for the 8A and the 8B Judicial Districts, which preside over Lenoir, Greene, and Wayne counties of North Carolina.[1] She joined the court in 2002. Heath was re-elected to the 8A and the 8B Judicial Districts in 2014, winning a term that expired on December 31, 2018.[2][3]

Education

Heath received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1982 and her J.D. from the Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in 1991.[5]

Career

Before she became a judge, Heath was a partner at the law firm of Wallace, Morris and Barwick from 1991 to 2002.[5]
