Primary: She was defeated in the Democratic primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 7.9 percent of the vote. She competed against Jesus E. Morales, Paul M. Vazaldua, Jr., Jaime Munoz, Hortencia Martinez, Juan Vasquez, Pete Garcia and Eloy Trevino. [1][2][3]
