Biography
Bentley earned an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a J.D. from Yale University.[1]
As of his appointment in 2016, Bentley was a partner with the law firm Flynn, Wright & Bentley. His professional experience also includes work as a partner with the firm Holme, Roberts & Owen, a trial attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice Organized Crime & Racketeering Section, and an assistant U.S. attorney. He has also served as a law clerk for Judge James Oakes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and Judge Leonard Sand of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.[1]
