Girard Mecadon was a 2013 candidate for the Luzerne County Magisterial District in Pennsylvania.[1] He lost to opponent, Alexandra Kokura.[2]

Elections

2013

Mecadon ran for election to the Luzerne County Magisterial District. Primary: He received 29.12 percent of the vote in the Republican primary on May 21, 2013, defeating Alexandra Kokura, Mark A. Singer, Qiana Murphy Lehman, Jeffrey Kulick, Len Sanguedolce, Art Bobbouine, and James O'Brien. He cross-filed as a Democrat but did not win that primary. 
General: He was defeated by Alexandra Kokura in the general election on November 5, 2013, after receiving 46.2 percent of the vote.

Education

Mecadon earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Scranton and his law degree from Widener University School of Law.[3]

Career

Mecadon works as an attorney in Jenkins Township.[3]
