Allgaier answered the following questions from Brookfield NOW:

What would be your main goals for Elmbrook if elected?

Maintain fiscal responsibility without requiring taxpayer referendum for operating costs; have all third-grade students "proficient" in math and reading; narrow achievement gap of low income students and students with disabilities; have Elmbrook recognized as "the best school district in the state of Wisconsin."

The topic of overcrowding at Swanson School has gotten a lot of attention of late. What are your thoughts on solutions for that issue?

We have adequate "capacity" to accommodate the projected elementary enrollment growth over the next six years. The recently approved addition to Swanson will add to that. I am confident the Swanson task force will develop recommendations that will realign attendance areas to balance the elementary populations across the district.
