Governor appoints new judge to Eighth Judicial District court

Minnesota: Governor Tim Pawlenty announced his appointment of Dwayne N. Knutsen to the Minnesota Eighth Judicial District on Thursday, June 24. Knutsen has been selected to replace Bruce Christopherson, who retired at the end of 2009. Knutsen, prior to the appointment, was a Chippewa County Attorney and will now serve as judge in Yellow Medicine County in the Eighth District. The governor described Knutsen, his 100th judicial appointment, as a, "thoughtful, fair and diligent attorney."[1]
