Joy Gleason, Thomas Patrick Morgan, Julee Rodocker and Randy A. Watkins for the seats. Fellow board member Charles Ford did not file for re-election.

Funding
López reported $3,895.00 in contributions and $2,968.49 in expenditures during the election, which left her with $926.51 on hand according to the Ingham County Clerk.[2]
Endorsements
López received endorsements from the Lansing State Journal, Lansing Board of Education President Peter Spadafore and state Representative Andy Schor (D-68).[3][4]
