General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 30.2 percent of the vote. He competed against Stanley A Levine and Daniel J. Borgmann.

Posey earned his B.A. from Indiana University in 1977. He later earned his J.D. from Indiana University in 1981.[2]
