James Reese
James Reese was a 2012 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 12th Congressional District of Ohio.[1]
Biography
Reese earned his B.A. in American Studies/Music from Hillsdale College in 2000. He went on to receive his J.D. from Capital University Law School in 2004. He is managing attorney/partner of the Law Office of James B. Reese, III, and has worked in this position since 2010.
Elections
2012
Reese was defeated by incumbent Patrick J. Tiberi.[2] Reese ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Ohio's 12th District. Reese defeated Doug Litt in the March 6, 2012, Democratic primary and was defeated by incumbent Patrick J. Tiberi (R) in the November 6, 2012, general election.
The Washington Post listed the House of Representatives elections in Ohio in 2012 as one of the 10 states that could have determined whether Democrats retook the House or Republicans held their majority in 2013.[3] Ohio tied with Pennsylvania for 9th on the list.[3]
