Jay D. Carlson is a Seventh Judicial District judge for Todd County, Minnesota. He has served on this court since August 17, 2006, having been appointed that June by Governor Tim Pawlenty to replace retired Judge Timothy J. Baland. Carlson was elected in 2008 to a full term.[1][2]

He was re-elected in 2014 for a term that expires in 2020.[3]
