Campaign themes

2014

Hinton explained his reasons for running in 2014 in an interview with the Crowley Star:

If you look back at the history of Crowley ISD and identify certain critical crossroads and their positive and sometimes negative impact, the next 5-10 years may be just as important as any other time. On each side of the CTP we need businesses of all varieties restaurants, hotels, car dealerships, industrial, grocery and commercial. The more businesses there are, the more taxes will funnel to the district to fund the construction of new schools, maintenance to our existing campuses, new and current programs, teacher and administration salaries, and much, much more.

We need to start laying the groundwork.
