I bring a practical approach to public service, building on my prior experience in Town government with long-standing dedication to LaPorte County, overall. After serving more than a decade on the Trail Creek Town Council, including 8 years as the Council President, I understand how local government decisions can affect every day life, and I carry that perspective into my role on the County Council.

I believe that government works best when we focus on on our core responsibilities: -being responsible with taxpayer dollars -making thoughtful budgeting decisions -supporting the essential services that we all depend on. I'm known for listening, working collaboratively, and not letting politics get in the way of making the best decisions for all of our residents--not just some. Outside of holding public office, my full-time work with a local community mental health center, serving as their Foundation Director, along with being a parent of a young adult with a cognitive disability, has helped me learn to advocate for those facing unique challenges, and created a commitment to supporting their well-being.

I am a neighbor, parent, and active community member who genuinely cares about LaPorte County. It is my honor to serve as a member of the LaPorte County Council.
  • Focused on responsible, common sense government I believe government works best when it stays focused on its core responsibilities: being responsible with taxpayer dollars, making thoughtful budgeting decisions, and supporting the essential services our communities rely on every day.
  • Experienced, practical leadership that understands real life With more than a decade of service on the Trail Creek Town Council—including eight years as Council President—I bring a grounded, practical approach to decision-making. I understand how local government choices affect everyday life, and I carry that perspective into my work on the County Council.
  • Community-driven, people-first perspective I’m known for listening, working collaboratively, and putting people ahead of politics. My work in behavioral health and my experience as a parent of a young adult with a cognitive disability have deepened my commitment to advocating for those facing unique challenges and supporting the well-being of all residents in LaPorte County.
I care about doing things the right way.

For me, that means being honest, ethical, and making decisions people can trust.
In a county council role, the focus should stay on the basics—being responsible with taxpayer dollars, setting fair tax rates, and making sure essential services like public safety, infrastructure, and health are supported.

It’s also about thinking ahead and making smart financial decisions that set our county up for the long run. When you keep your values grounded and your priorities clear, you can make decisions that truly serve the whole community.
As of March 28, 2026, I have received one endorsement:
The LaPorte, Starke, & Pulaski Building Trades and Construction Council.
