Jeremy D. Grunin
Jeremy D. Grunin was a candidate for Toms River Township representative on the Toms River Board of Education in New Jersey. He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014. Grunin, Teri Kubiel and Thomas E. Kunz ran as a slate in the election.
Biography
Grunin was born and raised in Toms River, attended district schools and graduated from High School East.[1] He is the executive director of the Jay and Linda Grunin Foundation.[2]

2014
Three seats on the Toms River school board were up for general election on November 4, 2014. Three incumbents of the Toms River Township district, Alex Pavliv, Loreen Torrone, and Ben Giovine were up for re-election, but Pavliv did not file to run. Torrone and Giovine faced challengers Robert Onofrietti Jr., Jeremy D. Grunin, Christopher Raimann, Teri Kubiel, Valarie T. Seidner, and Thomas E. Kunz in the general election. Grunin, Kubiel, and Kunz ran as a slate called Accomplishing More Together, while Giovine, Torrone, and Onofrietti ran as The Clean Slate for TRBOE.[3]

Funding
Grunin ran as part of Committee to Elect Kubiel, Grunin & Kunz, which reported $41,473.38 in contributions and $32,797.85 in expenditures to the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission as of October 27, 2014. Grunin had personally contributed $20,089.38 to the campaign.[4]
