Raimann highlighted the following statement on the campaign website he shared with Nardini:

This year Joe and Chris have joined forces as a voice for the students, parents, teachers and the community of Toms River. Chris and Joe will push forward with a positive message for all.

Chris: A life long resident of Toms River. He is a 22-year veteran in Law Enforcement, serving Ocean County with truth and honor. He comes from a family of educators. His father was a teacher for 31 years and he has two siblings teaching in public schools. He is happily married for 14 years and a father of two young children. Nothing is more important to him than a quality education for his family.

Joe: A family man and one of the last true gentleman you will ever meet. A Toms River businessman for over 40 years. Joe is happily married for 41 years and has three children, seven grandchildren and one on the way. His oldest daughter and son in law are teachers in the district. Six of his grandchildren currently attend Toms River Schools with two more soon to follow.

Together they will ensure respect between our administration and educators as well as always doing what is best for the children and the community.[12]

Raimann provided the following statement on his Facebook campaign page:

I am running for the Toms River Board of Education. I am a life time resident of Toms River and have watched the school district expand. My agenda is plain and simple; our children's education. Growing up, I attended private school at both Saint Joseph's Elementary School and Monsignor Donovan High School. But over the past six years I have been fortunate to witness first hand how the Toms River Schools have developed both of my children's education. The teachers have had a profound impact on my children's life both in and outside of the classroom. Over the past eighteen months, I have attended the monthly school board meetings. Each month I walk away believing our children's best interests are not being represented. While I am only one voice, together we all can have a vote in and out of the classroom assuring our children and teachers are given everything possible to achieve success! Please consider supporting me this upcoming November. All of our children deserve nothing but the best education and the best teachers to provide that education.[12]
