John E. Amari was a judge for the Jefferson County District Court in Alabama.[1][2] He successfully ran for re-election to the Jefferson County District Court in 2014.[3] Amari retired from the court in January 2019.[4]

General: He defeated Suzanne S. Childers in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 52.7 percent of the vote.

Education
Amari received his law degree from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. He was admitted to the bar in 1974.[2]
