John E. Martin is a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. He joined the court on March 1, 2013. He was reappointed to a second term on March 1, 2021.[1][2]
Education
Martin received his J.D. from Valparaiso University Law School.[3]
Career
Prior to becoming a magistrate judge, Martin was a deputy federal community defender in Hammond. He has also worked in private practice and served a deputy prosecutor for Porter County.[4]
