Karen E. Wall is an associate judge on the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court in Illinois.[1] First appointed to the position in 2010, Wall was reappointed in 2011 and 2015.[2][3]

Wall ran for election to the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court.
Primary: She was successful in the Democratic primary on March 18, 2014, receiving 58.9 percent of the vote. She competed against Edwin C. Barney and Daniel D. Brown.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 44.1 percent of the vote. She competed against Thomas M. O'Shaughnessy. [4][5][6] 

Evaluations

The Illinois State Bar Association and participating attorneys rated Karen E. Wall as Recommended for election in a 2014 poll.[7]

Education

Wall graduated from Watseka Community High School. She earned her undergraduate degree from Illinois State University and her J.D. from the John Marshall Law School.[8]

Career

While earning her law degree, Wall served as a law clerk for Manion, Devens, & McFetridge, Ltd. She was later hired by that firm and went on to become a partner in 2002.[8]
