Katherine A. Field is an associate probate and family court justice for the Bristol Probate and Family Court in Bristol County, Massachusetts.[1][2] She was nominated to the court by former Governor Deval Patrick in May 2010, and her nomination was confirmed by the Governor's Council in July 2010.[3][4] Field may serve on the court until she turns the mandatory retirement age of 70.[5]

Education

Field received her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Albany in 1981 and her J.D. from the Boston College Law School in 1984.[6]

Career

From 1985 until she joined the Bristol Probate and Family Court in 2010, Field practiced law with the firm of Gay, Gay & Field in Taunton, Massachusetts.[3][4]
