As an MBA holder and a dedicated working mom, I bring a unique blend of professional expertise and personal commitment to everything I do. Currently serving as the PTO president at Irving Pertzsch, I'm deeply involved in fostering community engagement and educational enrichment for our school. I was born and raised in Wisconsin, and I carry with me a deep connection to my family's roots in dairy farming and entrepreneurialism, instilling in me a strong work ethic and a profound respect for community. My journey has been one of growth and learning, both personally and professionally. Through my experiences, I've developed a keen ability to manage complex tasks, foster meaningful relationships, and lead with empathy and vision. Whether I'm navigating corporate discussions or coordinating school events, I bring passion and dedication to everything I do, driven by a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
  • First and foremost, I am committed to updating our city ordinances. Our world is constantly evolving, and our regulations must evolve with it. Outdated ordinances can hinder progress and stifle innovation. By modernizing our city ordinances, we can ensure that our rules and regulations are aligned with the needs and values of our community. This means streamlining processes, promoting sustainability, and creating a more efficient and effective local government.
  • Secondly, I believe in the power of volunteers. Volunteers are the backbone of our community. They selflessly give their time and energy to make our city a better place to live. As your representative, I will work tirelessly to support and empower our volunteers. Whether it's through providing resources, recognition, or training, I will ensure that our volunteers have the support they need to continue making a positive impact in our community.
  • Lastly, I am committed to working with the community to meet their needs. I believe that the best solutions come from collaboration and dialogue. As your elected official, I will always prioritize listening to the concerns and ideas of our residents. Together, we can identify our priorities and work towards solutions that benefit everyone. By fostering a sense of community and collaboration, we can create a city where everyone feels heard, valued, and supported.
I am particularly passionate about policies that promote effective governance, community empowerment, and citizen-centric approaches to problem-solving and I strongly believe in the importance of inclusive and participatory decision-making processes in shaping public policy.
The most important characteristics and principles for a public official include integrity, accountability, leadership, respect for the rule of law, commitment to public service, empathy and compassion, communication skills, adaptability, fiscal responsibility, and commitment to diversity and inclusion. These traits enable officials to serve with honesty, transparency, and ethical conduct, while prioritizing the needs of their constituents, fostering trust, and promoting the common good through effective governance and responsible stewardship of public resources.
My candidacy is defined by a commitment to effective representation fueled by my strong communication skills, resourcefulness, hard work ethic, and unwavering dedication to our community. With a knack for clear and persuasive communication, I will ensure that your voices are heard and understood in the decision-making process. My resourcefulness enables me to tackle challenges creatively and find innovative solutions to complex issues. I am not afraid of hard work, and I will tirelessly advocate for our community's needs and interests. My deep-seated dedication to our community is the driving force behind my candidacy, motivating me to go above and beyond to serve you faithfully and effectively.
The core responsibilities of an Alderperson include representing constituents, legislating by passing local ordinances, participating in budget approval, providing constituent services, serving on local committees, engaging with the community, ensuring government accountability, collaborating with stakeholders, resolving conflicts, and advocating for policies that benefit the community.
The legacy I aspire to leave is one of positive impact and lasting change. I envision a community where every individual feels heard, valued, and empowered to thrive. Through my dedicated service and collaborative leadership, I aim to foster a culture of inclusivity, opportunity, and resilience. I want to be remembered as someone who championed progress, promoted equity, and worked tirelessly to enhance the quality of life for all residents. My hope is that future generations will inherit a stronger, more vibrant community built on the foundation of unity, compassion, and shared prosperity that we have cultivated together.
