Keith Laube was a Libertarian candidate for Iowa Treasurer in the 2014 elections.[1] Keith Laube lost the general election on November 4, 2014.

Biography

Laube was born in Charles City, Iowa. He graduated from New Hampton High School and holds both a B.S. and M.S. in civil engineering from Iowa State University, in addition to an MBA from Colorado State University.

Laube was a civil engineer and small business owner in the private sector for almost two decades before assuming his current position as Public Works Director for the City of Newton.[2]

Laube ran on the Libertarian ticket for Iowa Treasurer in the 2014 general election. He faced Democratic incumbent Michael Fitzgerald and Republican Sam Clovis. The general election took place on November 4, 2014.
