Kenneth R. Deihl

Kenneth R. Deihl is a judge of the Seventh Circuit of Illinois. He has served in this position since 2006. He was retained in 2012 for a term that expires in 2018.[1][2]
Deihl was appointed chief judge in November 2014, effective December 1, 2014. He will replace Leslie J. Graves, whose term as chief judge is ending.[3]
Education
Deihl received his B.A. degree from Blackburn College in 1978 and his J.D. degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1982.[4]
Career
Deihl worked as a private practice attorney from 1982 until he joined the circuit court in 2006.[4]
2012 election
Deihl was retained to the circuit court on Nov. 6, 2012 with 78.9% of the vote.[2][5]
