Kevin G. Young

Kevin G. Young is a justice for the Onondaga County Supreme Court in the 5th Judicial District of New York. He was elected to a term that began in 2007 and ends in 2020.[1]
Education
Young received his B.S. and J.D. degrees from Syracuse University in 1975 and 1978, respectively.[1]
Career
Young began his career in 1984 as a sole practitioner and Counsel to the Speaker of the New York State Assembly. He left the Assembly in 1990, but continued his private practice until 1995. He was also an Assistant District Attorney for Onondaga County from 1988 to 1995. In 1996, he was elected to the Syracuse City Court, where he served until he joined the Supreme Court in 2007.[1]
