Kevin L. Hoyer was a judge for the Thirteenth Judicial District Court in Colorado.[1] Hoyer joined the court in 2005.[2] He was retained by voters in 2014. [3] Hoyer retired from the court on October 1, 2021.

Education

Hoyer received both his undergraduate degree and J.D. from the University of Colorado in 1977 and 1980, respectively.[4]

Career

Prior to taking the bench, Hoyer was an attorney in private practice. Contemporaneously, he also served as judge for the Washington County Court.[4]

Elections

2014

Hoyer was retained to the Thirteenth Judicial District with percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [5] 

Judicial performance evaluation

The Colorado Commissions on Judicial Performance recommended that Judge Hoyer be Retained. The full report is available here.
