Leo Camden, Jr. is the Area 2 representative on the Belton Independent School District board of trustees in Texas. Camden sought another term in the general election on May 7, 2016. Due to lack of opposition, the race for Area 2 was canceled and Camden was automatically re-elected.[1]

The Belton ISD school board election on May 7, 2016 were low-stakes. In Area 1 Ronald Bailey faced sole challenger Jeff Norwood. Norwood defeated Bailey to win the seat. The Area 2 incumbent Leo Camden Jr., Area 3 incumbent Sue Jordan, and Area 5 incumbent Mike Cowan were all unopposed. The district canceled the races due to lack of opposition and the incumbents were automatically re-elected.[2][3][4]
