Lewis A. Davis is a judge for the Superior Court of Contra Costa County in California. He was appointed by former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on August 8, 2006 to succeed William O'Malley. Davis was automatically elected to a full term in 2008.[1][2][3] He filed for re-election in 2014, but due to facing no opposition, was automatically elected to a new term that expires in 2021.[4]

As an unopposed incumbent, he was automatically re-elected without appearing on the ballot. [4]

Davis received a bachelor's degree from Clark University in 1970 and a J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1981.[5]
