Lula Ford
Lula Ford (b. March 11, 1944) is a former member of the Illinois Commerce Commission. Ford, the first black woman to ever serve on the commission, was first appointed to this position in 2003 and served to 2013.[1]
Biography
Ford served in the Chicago public school system for nearly 35 years as an elementary school teacher, administrator and principal. She was appointed to the U.S. Department of Transportation's Technical Pipeline Safety Standards Committee in 2007, serving until September 30, 2010.[1]
