Judge Buday received her undergraduate degree in English from the University of Michigan in 1979. She earned her J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1983.[2]
Career
Judge Buday was an assistant prosecuting attorney for Grand Traverse County, Mich., before her appointment to the bench.[2]

Buday was re-elected to the probate court after running unopposed in 2012.[3][4]
