The Maine Native American Reservation Water and Sewage Facilities Bond Issue, also known as Referendum Question No. 5, was on the November 4, 1969 ballot in Maine as a legislatively referred bond question, where it was approved.[1] The measure issued $310,000 in bonds to construct water and sewage facilities at three Indian Housing Authorities in the state.[2]

Background

In 1968, $384,000 in bonds was issued for the construction and modernization of school facilities at three Native American reservations and to construct water and sewage facilities at the township reservation in Princeton.[1][3]
