The Maine State Park and Recreation Area Fund Bond Issue, also known as Referendum Question No. 2, was on the November 5, 1968 ballot in Maine as a legislatively referred bond question, where it was approved.[1] The measure issued up to $4 million in bonds for the creation of the Maine State Park and Recreation Area Fund.[2]

REFERENDUM QUESTION NO. 2

"Shall a bond issue be ratified for the purposes set forth in 'An Act to Authorize the Creation of the Maine State Park and Recreation Area Fund and the Issuance of Not Exceeding Four Million Dollar Bonds of the State of Maine for the Financing Thereof,' passed by the 103rd Legislature?" [3]
