Measure B authorized the school district to levy a parcel tax of $50 per parcel/per year for five years.
A two-thirds (66.67%) vote was required for approval.

The question on the ballot:
| Measure B: "To support high academic achievement for local students by maintaining small class sizes, updated textbooks and classroom materials, improved access to modern technology, science education, art, music, band programs, library services and school counselors to help students prepare for college and work, shall Martinez Unified School District authorize an annual school parcel tax of $50 per parcel for a term not to exceed five years, exempting eligible senior citizens, and including citizens' oversight?"[1] |
