Campaign website

Kuhrt's campaign website stated the following:

The problems

What I found was confusing, mostly because of the lack of transparency and cooperation when trying to validate election results. There were exorbitant fees for simple file requests. When the fees were paid, they "redacted" information to "protect privacy", which made finding definitive results impossible.

This lack of transparency does not instill confidence.

We need to have all the election related data online so that anyone can see it. The one exception would be envelopes with signatures.

Another issue that needs to be considered is voter rolls. The local officials update the rolls based on local information. That is fine.

The problem is the voter rolls are updated at the state level by the SOS, DMV, OHA, and others. The rolls are also updated at a national level by ERIC (Electronic Registration Information System). None of these entities allow reasonable audits to check their accuracy.

We need to make sure control of the voter rolls is done only at the County level.
