I have the background to lead: an attorney, business owner, and community leader

Transforming our state starts with the environment. It then expands to the human condition (food, housing, healthcare, and employment).

We must work as a state family to care for each other and the environment. We cannot allow the few wealthy to hoard the benefits of our state at the expense of the rest.
- The environment - Alleviating homelessness and poverty - Healthcare for all - Reducing voilence and removing guns - Improving the education system - Fiscall responsiblity and long term state financial strength - Renewable energy
Respect from both sides. The founders of America and Maryland believed in a balance of power between the executive branch (governor, state agencies), the legislative branch (House, Senate), and the judicial branch. No single branch should feel inferior to the other. All should assert their views and ultimately arrive at a negotiated compromise.
Maryland faces a number of serious challenges over the next decade including:

Repairing our environment, from the nearly dead Chesapeake Bay to our rivers, water, agricultural land, and food. We must move towards net-zero emissions, utilizing 100% renewable energy throughout the state (industry, cars, homes, schools, etc.) We also have a healthcare crisis, with out of control spending. We must move towards universal healthcare on a state level (including hospital, dental, vision, mental health, and preventative care). We have a large deficit of affordable housing (rental and private). We must build affordable communities and provide the support for renters in cities and rural areas. We have a prison and criminal justice system that perpetuates racial injustices and biases. It must be fixed.

Yes, as a democracy we must come together to solve problems for our state residents and make real progress.
