I grew up in Freedom, WI, a predominant farming community just north of Appleton. I graduated from UW - Oshkosh with a bachelor's degree majoring in Information Systems in 2016. I have stayed in Oshkosh after graduating, with my wife Megan. I have been working in IT for the past 3+ years at Bemis Company. With the recent acquisition by Amcor, I have moved on to a new company doing IT consulting work still residing here in Oshkosh.

Being surrounded by vocal Republican supporters most of my life, I fell victim to keeping my views and ideas to myself out of fear of being judged or ruining relationships. There is an energy to be tapped into here in the 6th district that inspired me during the 2016 presidential election. People want a new direction in politics, and I am passionate about supporting and providing that in a way that truly benefits everyone. My campaign is centered around how we can make life better for you, with compassion and enthusiasm. I am committed to explaining in detail what specifically can be done to better everyone's life in a tangible way, and how we can get there together.

  • Above all else, people want their basic human needs met and lives improved. Everything I do will be because of that message.
  • Healthcare is a basic human right- there is currently too much confusion and complexity for basic human needs to be met adequately and affordably.
  • Climate change needs to be addressed urgently to save our environment, agriculture, and economy.
1. Healthcare. I feel strongly about working to simplify healthcare for individuals and helping relieve business owners who are burdened with unnecessary costs.

2. Environmental Sustainability. Especially providing solutions for farmers to excel.
3. Opportunity for Rural Communities. Including high speed internet access, using environmental sustainability as an economic asset, and public transit connections for easier freedom of movement.
4. Education. Investing in education from pre-k all the way up through postgraduate.

5. Being Inclusive and Supportive for All.
I gravitate towards people who genuinely care about others and are consistent in who they are as individuals. For people I personally know, my wife Megan is unrelenting in her passion for helping to change the lives of children, for the better, from all walks of life. I get my empathy and desire to help others from my mother. Among other things, she has a love for helping animals, and throughout my life it has been instilled in me to help those that can't help themselves in someway.

For public figures that I look up to, the list includes: Anthony Bourdain, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Bernie Sanders, to name a few. I look up to these people for many reasons, but the theme for them all is their genuineness and consistency in pursuit of leaving the world a better place than they found it. If I can do the same then I have achieved what I set out to do in life.
Being consistent, transparent, and willing to listen are very important. People are putting their trust in you and in return you need to be open so they know you are constantly working in their best interest.
I have strong listening skills and am able to effectively gather issues and translate them into a plan. I'm genuine, sympathetic, and organized. I have the passion to fight for what this district needs.
Truly fight for the people of this district. It has had years of empty representation for years now with no clear plan to enact plans to face the issues people are dealing with everyday in this area. They need a champion of agriculture who will step up and back the farmers that make this area strong. They need someone to give them a plan for real tangible benefits to individuals and businesses.
Kitchen Confidential by Anthony Bourdain or The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams
Power in numbers. It's the largest governing body and with that comes many different thoughts and ideas. The many different viewpoints will continually be needed come up with new innovations and help fix current issues. It also directly represents the will of the people and what they want the country to look like, essentially the most direct way for citizens to try to make a difference in this country.
Climate change and it's not even close. This is an urgent issue and by tackling it head on it can produce so much good for the country. Ignoring the issue will only foster a deeper divide between everyone. Doing what needs to be done can bring in a new age of economic growth and shift how the nation thinks about tackling future issues together. If we don't fight to protect the climate and push for sustainable innovations, then frankly nothing else will matter in 10 years.
Any of the Agriculture or Natural Resources committees, there are ZERO Wisconsin representatives on any of them. Others with high interest would be: Transportation and Infrastructure, Small Business, Homeland Security (specifically Cybersecurity), and Education and Labor.
I support term limits for Congress. I would propose 8 years/4 terms for the House and 12 years/2 terms for the Senate.
