Michael E. Dodge is a former judge of the 43rd Circuit Court in Cass County, Michigan. He was appointed by Governor William Milliken in 1982, and he was re-elected on November 2, 2010.[1] Dodge was unable to run for re-election in 2016 because he had reached the mandatory retirement age. He retired on December 31, 2016.[2]

Education

Dodge received his undergraduate degree from the University of Detroit Mercy and his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame.[3][4]

Military experience

After earning his law degree from the University of Notre Dame, Dodge served for two years in the U.S. Army.[4]

Career

Prior to becoming a judge, Dodge served as a county prosecutor in Cass County.[4]

Elections

2010

Dodge was re-elected to the 43rd Circuit Court without opposition in the general election on November 2, 2010.[1]
