Mike Ollen is the New Hampshire state director for Beto O'Rourke's (D) 2020 presidential campaign. Before joining O'Rourke's campaign in May 2019, Ollen had presidential campaign experience serving as Hillary Clinton's deputy political director in 2016 and Barack Obama's regional field director in 2012. He also worked on several campaigns down-the-ballot.
Career
In 2012, Ollen worked on Obama's presidential campaign first as a field organizer, then as a regional field director. During the 2014 election, he served as deputy political director for Jeanne Shaheen's Senate run. Ollen worked on Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign as a deputy political director as well, before joining Maggie Hassan's U.S. Senate campaign the same year as political director.[1]
In addition to his work on campaigns, Ollen worked as Senator Hassan's state director from 2017 to 2019, as an associate at Hilltop Public Solutions consulting firm in 2015, and as a constituent service coordinator for Congresswoman Annie Kuster.[2]
Ollen graduated from Northeastern University in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in public advocacy and rhetoric.[1]
