Mike Westergren was a 2018 Democratic candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 27th Congressional District of Texas. Westergren ran in the special election, which took place on June 30, 2018.[1]

Westergren ran for the Texas Supreme Court seat held by incumbent Justice Debra Lehrmann in 2016.[2] He was defeated.

Westergren ran for Place 3 on the Texas Supreme Court. He was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Westergren faced incumbent Justice Debra Lehrmann, who won the March 1 Republican primary, in November, along with Kathie Glass (Lib.) and Rodolfo Rivera Munoz (Green).[2]
