Molly B. Keane
Molly B. Keane is a judge of the Nebraska 4th District Court. She assumed office in 2021. Her current term ends on January 7, 2027.
She was appointed to the court on November 29, 2021, by Gov. Pete Ricketts (R) to replace Thomas Otepka.[1]
Biography
Education
Keane earned her B.A. from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School.[1]
Career
Keane began her career in 2001 as an assistant district attorney for Middlesex County. In 2004, she left that position to become deputy county attorney for Douglas County until her appointment to the district court in 2021. Keane is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association and the Massachusetts State Bar Association. She served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Nebraska County Attorneys Association for over three years. She has served on the Child and Maternal Death Review Team and Nebraska Human Trafficking Taskforce.[1] Keane was honored with the Kids First Award by Project Harmony in 2017.[2]
