The New York State Debt for Sewage Treatment Facilities, Proposition 1, also known as Proposition 1, was on the ballot in New York on November 2, 1965, as a legislatively referred bond question. It was approved. The measure authorized the creation of a state debt of $1,000,000,000 for sewage treatment facilities.[1]
