North Dakota Investment of Permanent School Fund Referendum, Amendment 2 (June 1952)
The North Dakota Investment of Permanent School Fund Referendum, also known as Amendment 2, was on the June 24, 1952 ballot in North Dakota as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it was approved.[1][2] The measure stipulated that the moneys of the permanent school fund and other educational funds could be invested only in the following:[3]
- Bonds of school corporations or of counties, or townships, or of municipalities within the state
- Bonds issued for the construction of drains under authority of law within the state
- Bonds of the United States
- Bonds of the State of North Dakota
- First mortgages on farm lands in the state
