Oklahoma State Question 135 was on the ballot as a veto referendum in Oklahoma on November 2, 1926. It was defeated.

A "yes" vote supported repealing House Bill No. 369 to maintain the requirement that convict-made goods be labeled as such, preserving the "Convict Label Law."

Ballot title

The ballot title for State Question 135 was as follows:

"The Tenth Legislature of Oklahoma, by the passage of House Bill No. 369, approved March 27, 1925, repealed Sections 11,015 and 11,016, Compiled Oklahoma Statutes, 1921, which required the labeling of convict-made goods In the penitentiary. 

"The object of this referendum Is to repeal said House Bill No. 369, and thus prevent the repeal of the so-called Convict Label Law, and compel the labeling of convict made goods as such."

In Oklahoma, the number of signatures required for a veto referendum was equal to 5% of the votes cast in the last general election. In 2010, voters approved State Question 750, which changed the signature requirement to be based on the preceding gubernatorial election. A simple majority vote is required for voter approval.
