Patricia Milun
Patricia Milun was a judge of the Minnesota Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals. She assumed office in 2011. She left office on January 2, 2023.
She was appointed chief judge of the Minnesota Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals by Gov. Mark Dayton on April 7, 2011.[1][2]
Education
Milun earned her bachelor's degree from the College of St. Benedict's in 1981 and her J.D. from the William Mitchell College of Law in 1985.[3]
Career
Milun began her legal career as a workers' compensation attorney with the law firm of Larsen, Heck, Klimek & Powell. From 1993 to 2001, and again from 2003 until her appointment as chief judge of the Minnesota Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals in 2011, she was a workers' compensation judge with the Department of Labor & Industry and the Office of Administrative Hearings. From 2001 to 2003, she was deputy commissioner of the Department of Labor & Industry.[3]
