Peter G. Cary is the chief judge on the United States bankruptcy court, District of Maine. He joined the court in January of 2014 to succeed retired Judge James Haines.[1][2][3] Cary was elevated to the position of chief judge on February 16, 2015.[4]
Education
Cary received his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and a J.D. from Boston College Law School.[3]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Cary was a partner with the firm MittelAsen, LLC.[3]
