Inspired by the legacy of his great-grandfather, an enslaved man and a Sergeant in the Seminole Indian Scouts, Phillip has a profound understanding of history and the importance of fighting for equality and social justice. This legacy drives Phillip's passion for advocating for underserved communities and ensuring that every voice is heard. After his service in the Marine Corps, Phillip faced the challenges of transitioning to civilian life with determination, overcoming personal obstacles like dyslexia and dedicating himself to personal growth. During his time in the Marines, he oversaw a $3.3 billion budget as the non-commissioned officer in charge of the fiscal accounting department, earning a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for his exemplary service.

Phillip's professional experience is diverse. He has a background as a retail operations manager for various big-box and specialty stores, where he successfully managed grand openings and daily operations. He is also aspiring to develop his private crypto mining operation, leveraging technology to create new opportunities for economic growth in Kinney County.
