Replacement judge appointed to Kansas Circuit Court

Kansas: Dennis C. Eckold has been appointed my Governor Jay Nixon to be an associate circuit judge of the Sixth Judicial Circuit. Eckold has been appointed as a replacement to fill the vacancy left by Judge Gary Witt's move the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District. Eckold was chosen from three candidates submitted by the Sixth Circuit Judicial Commission and was chosen by Nixon saying this, "I am confident that he will serve the people of Platte County well on the bench."[1]
