The Rhode Island Elementary and Secondary Education, Proposal 5 was on the ballot in Rhode Island on November 6, 1984, as a legislatively referred bond question. It was approved. The measure authorized $2.6 million in bonds for equipment at vocational schools and improvements at the Rhode Island School for the Deaf.[1]
