Richard Birch

Richard A. Birch is a judge for the 11th District Court in Nebraska. He was appointed by Governor Dave Heineman on October 6, 2011. He was preceded by John P. Murphy, who stepped down in August 2011. He was retained in 2014 for a term that expires in 2020.[1][2][3]

Education
Birch graduated from the law school at the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 1978.[4] He has also served as an adjunct professor at Mid-Plains Community College, Chadron State College and the University of Nebraska-Kearney.[5]
