Robert A. Evans
Robert A. Evans is a former district court judge for the 7A Judicial District and the 7BC Judicial District, serving Nash, Wilson, and Edgecombe counties of North Carolina. He was appointed to the court by former Governor Jim Hunt in 1999 and served until May 1, 2009, when he was appointed by former Governor Bev Perdue to serve as the district attorney for the 7A Judicial District and 7BC Judicial District.[1][2]
Education
Evans received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law.[1]
Career
Before he became a judge, Evans worked as an attorney in private practice in Rocky Mount, North Carolina from 1977 to 1999.[1]
