Robert Lincoln is a judge for the Washington County General Sessions Court in Washington County, Tennessee. He also serves as a judge for the Washington County Juvenile Court. He is based in Jonesborough, Tennessee. Lincoln was first elected to the court in 1998 and was re-elected in 2006 and 2014. His current eight-year term expires in 2022.[1][2][3]

Education

Lincoln received his undergraduate degree from Randolph-Macon College in 1984 and his J.D. degree from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 1989. Prior to attending law school, he worked for two years as the staff of James H. Quillen, U.S. Congressman for the First District of Tennessee.[2]

Career

Lincoln was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 1989 and was a partner at a private law practice prior to his judicial election in 1998.[2]
