- Here's what makes me the best candidate: A proven record of achievements and accomplishments. Over the past four years, as a member of the Board of Trustees, we have lowered costs, improved services, and created a great place to live, work, and raise a family. We have strengthened relationships with residents, neighboring communities, including the City of Northville, Chamber of Commerce, Maybury Farm, and others. My extensive professional experience enables me to bring a unique perspective to the decision making process.
- I’m proud of our many accomplishments. Key ones include: Winning the Detroit Free press honor of Top Workplaces for 2023-24 (first Michigan municipality to win the award); AAA Bond Rating signifying the Township’s excellent creditworthiness, healthy reserves and prudent financial management; Legacy Park development starting with the opening of phase I of our planned trail system; a 2nd Water Tower to lower costs; new Essential Services Complex (planned opening spring of 2025) for improved public safety and efficiency; and new pathway connections including the north side of Six Mile near the high school, and Bradner Road near Winchester Middle school.
- The Township Board continually evaluates and prioritizes what our citizens value most. Public Safety, Parks including Pathways, and Public Services are top priorities of the Township. Managing these priorities in a fiscally responsible way is a constant challenge. Among these, Public Safety remains the top priority and represents an ever-increasing challenge with the high level of illegal immigration occurring throughout our country. Parks and Recreation, including Pathways is another top priority. We are in the process of updating the Legacy Park Master Plan. Rolling out the Legacy Park plan in a fiscally responsible way is a top priority.
